New Supreme Court Justice?

Reports are swirling around that longtime Justice Anthony Kennedy, a key swing vote on the Supreme Court, may be considering retirement after over 30 years of service on the bench. According to sources, Kennedy is expected to announce his retirement sometime in the summer of 2018, paving the way for President Donald Trump to nominate his second justice to the Supreme Court, after Neil Gorsuch.

The top names on the list? Former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, and Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani are all finalists, but according to a source familiar with the decision process, former Alabama Chief Justice and recent candidate for Senator of Alabama, Roy Moore, is the frontrunner by far.

The source, who gave this comment in exchange for not having his name released stated, “Believe me, Roy got the job done in Alabama. When the anti-Christians tried to infringe on his religious beliefs, he put the Ten Commandments in his courthouse. When the gun control freaks tried to take his pistol, he brandished it at a rally. This is a man who’s got no fear of the establishment and is a strict, constitutional conservative. It’s going to be huge when we finally get Ready Roy, as I like to call him, on the bench”

When pressed into the recent legal matters that ultimately doomed Moore’s campaign, the source remained adamant.

“Look, the fake news media got these crisis actors – these fake victims – to run a smear campaign on Roy. He is a deeply faithful Christian man, and would never be doing these things the victims alleged he was, these horrible, disgusting things. If you look at what happened with our great President, the same exact thing happened with the Access Hollywood tape. This is a non-story, which the media used to get their handpicked candidate, Doofus Doug Jones, into office.”

The Outsider reached out to close aides of Roy Moore for comment, but all refused to comment on this story.
